Migrant Programs

We offer a range of programs which help migrants into sustainable employment. Through connecting them to training opportunities and local communities, we help them develop the skills they need to enter the Australian workforce.

Some of the programs we offer:

Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS)

This program is for newly arrived individuals, families and communities in Tasmania. It aims to address settlement needs to improve social participation, economic wellbeing, independence, personal welfare and community connectedness for people who don’t have family and other community support to rely on.

Supporting Migrant Women into Employment

Empowers migrant women in Western Sydney by providing them with essential career advice and pre-employment support. The program encourages the development of confidence, independence and employability skills and equips these women with the necessary skills and confidence to transition into meaningful and sustainable employment.

Hospitality Without Borders

A specialised program designed to address the hospitality skills shortage in NSW. The program delivers free support, personalised assessment and further education across a number of different pathways to help migrants gain trade qualifications and begin work in their industry of choice.

Connecting Women to Trades

Supports women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds develop the awareness, skills and confidence they need to transition to meaningful and sustainable trades careers. With crucial career advice and pre-employment support, this program gives migrant women across Western and Eastern Sydney the opportunity to begin a rewarding career in Australia.
